IDS UK SALES SUPPORT ENGINEER

Immersive Display Solutions UK

Immersive Display Solutions UK is currently seeking a Sales Support Engineer to support the Business Development Director with sales opportunities and sales-related activities in the EMEA region.

Activities include:

  • Site Surveys
  • Exhibition Support
  • Demonstration Support
  • Pre-Sales Technical Documentation Support

Further, the Sales Support Engineer will support our installation teams in the role of display technician, including tasks such as projector setup and alignment, warp and blend setup and calibration, optical alignment, and final adjustments of the visual display system for customer acceptance.

The Sales Support Engineer must be able to transport, assemble and maintain equipment used in simulation and training visual display systems. Knowledge of projectors and alignment systems is essential, and familiarity with image generators is required.
The Sales Support Engineer must be creative and flexible with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers and clients, often under deadline pressure.

Applicant must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as preferably having CAD experience and the ability to read and critique technical drawings and system wiring/layout diagrams. Understanding of Microsoft Windows configuration, networking and debugging is strongly recommended.

The role will require the ability and willingness to travel abroad to our clients in the EMEA region and overseas HQ in Kennesaw, USA. The Immersive Display Solutions UK office is located near Luton Airport.
